“Rivers of Change: The Legacy of Five Unheralded Women in Montgomery and Their Struggle for Justice and Dignity©”

The purpose of this documentary is to inform viewers of the contributions of the unheralded women and the impact of their actions on the boycott and the impact on their lives. The documentary will be narrated by various individuals with first hand accounts, persons that had a personal relationship with the five women, and accounts by surviving members and their families. The documentary will incorporate video stock archives and news clippings of events of the boycott and the subsequent federal trial, Browder vs. Gayle. The documentary will chronicle events and key players in the legal protest to end unequal treatment on Montgomery city buses.
